Thank you to all of the people who helped last night at the Tommy Atkins Relays.  A track meet cannot be successful with out the help of many, and many helped.  Thank you to Seth Reeves for cooking over 300 hamburgers and to Charlie Owens and family for feeding over 100 some awesome fried catfish and fixins.  Time is a valuable commodity for all of us, and it always amazes me the people that are willing to give up their time to help others.  Once again thank you to all for making this a successful event for kids.

Student Physicals
Saturday May 4th we will host Physicals from 8am-9am in the new middle school gym.  These are free to White Oak Students.  They are mandatory for ALL incoming 7th, 9th, and 11th for 2013-2014.  This will be the only date we are hosting physicals, and the only date they will be free.

Subject: Instructions for Upcoming Fundraiser

As we prepare for our upcoming season, one of the most important things we will do is raise money for our program. With state and district budget cuts, it is more necessary than ever for us to raise the money needed to fund equipment, uniforms and other critical things.

In a couple weeks, we will execute one of our key projects, the Super Fan List blitz. It will only take our kids one hour to perform this fundraiser, but it has the potential for us to make a substantial dent in our needs. Each player will invite adults within his support circle to be his “Fan” on his online profile page, in exchange for a donation to our program. Donors can leave a message on his page. See FAQ on the back.

To prepare for the blitz, I am asking each player to do the following homework assignment this week. Parents, your help is requested with the completion of this assignment. My expectations and the deadline for the assignment are listed below.
